Which model fits your service bay?

Choose the 1100 for R134a work when you prefer manual procedures. The 3100 adds automatic procedures and R134a hybrid capability. For R1234yf vehicles, including supported hybrid applications, look at the 4100.

The standard 4100 includes a refrigerant identifier. Vehicle A/C system flushing is optional on the 3100 and 4100. Check the accessories required for your chosen procedure before ordering.

Check the exact variant

Models carrying the -E suffix use 220 V. Mastercool lists automatic oil injection for 220 V models only; it is not a feature of the standard 110 V models compared here. The 4100-E-X variant omits the refrigerant identifier.

Match the machine to the vehicle's refrigerant and follow the manufacturer instructions for hybrid service and hose flushing. For a workshop handling both refrigerants, discuss a suitable equipment combination with our team.

Before you choose

Commander questions, answered.

What does R/R/R mean?

R/R/R stands for recovery, recycling and recharging. These are the refrigerant-service functions of the Commander machines compared here. Match the exact machine to the refrigerant and service procedure required by the vehicle.

Which model should I compare for hybrid vehicles?

For R134a hybrid applications, compare the COMMANDER3100. For R1234yf hybrid applications, compare the COMMANDER4100. Hybrid capability does not make a machine suitable for every vehicle; follow the exact model instructions and the vehicle manufacturer’s service requirements.

Does one of these machines cover both refrigerants?

The standard models in this comparison are refrigerant-specific: COMMANDER1100 and COMMANDER3100 use R134a; COMMANDER4100 uses R1234yf. If your workshop handles both, ask our team about a suitable equipment combination.

What information should I provide before ordering?

Provide the exact model or SKU, vehicle refrigerant, available electrical supply and whether you service hybrids. Use the buying checklist below to prepare the details for your equipment enquiry.

Plan your purchase

Before you order
a Commander machine.

Keep these details together when comparing a machine or requesting a quote. Confirm the exact model rather than relying on the Commander family name.

  1. Match the refrigerant and vehicles

Record whether your vehicles use R134a, R1234yf or both, and whether hybrid service is required. The three models above are refrigerant-specific; a higher model number does not mean one machine covers both refrigerants.

  2. Confirm the model, generation and power

Use the full model number and SKU from the product page. This table covers standard 110 V models. Do not transfer features from an older Commander machine or a 220 V -E variant to a different model.

  3. Check what is included

Confirm the accessories and optional functions needed for your work, including the refrigerant identifier, vehicle database and flushing equipment where applicable. A bundle and a standalone machine can have different contents.

  4. Prepare for delivery and support

Share your destination and any delivery-access requirements with our team. Read the shipping information, return terms and warranty information before ordering.
